In sports, technology has an important role and it is applied to equipment’s characteristics, the athlete’s technique and an athlete’s heath. The need for better equipment has arisen as competitiveness in the sport has increased upto manifolds. Hockey skates, soccer balls, baseball bats, tennis racquets, football helmets and golf clubs, considerable changes are witnessed, when new technologies are manifested in the manufacturing process.
