Jurgen Klinsmann : A Skilled Striker
Jurgen Klinsmann began his football career in 1982 with Stuttgart Kickers. He impressed with his performance there. In 1984 he joined Vfb Stuttgart and spend five seasons with them and got huge success. In 1988 he became the top goal scorer in Bundesliga.
In 1989 he joined his new side Inter Milan. He won the Serie A in the first season itself. In 1990, the striker played a key role in West Germany winning the World Cup in Italy. In this event he played 5 matches in Milan which was his home ground. This made the victory even sweeter.
In the following time Klinsmann established himself as a great striker. Then his team had to defend the World Cup at America in 1994. The striker was at his peak now. He had a fine tournament and contributed by scoring five goals in it. But the remaining team did not perform like a winning side. They lost 1-2 to Bulgaria in the quarter final and there were tears in Klinsmann’s eyes after the match.
He also represented Germany in the World Cup 1998 in France and had three goals in it. But the team again lost in quarter finals, on this occasion to Croatia.
